Notes, transcripts and recordings are saved on your device. The app does not provide cloud note sync or application-level end-to-end encryption. Device backups and operating-system security settings may also affect access and retention.
When you request transcription, summaries, translation or chat, the selected audio or text is sent over HTTPS directly to Groq. The mobile app does not send AI requests through our Firebase backend. Infrastructure and provider processing and retention are subject to their policies and configuration; we do not promise zero retention.
Review Groq's privacy policy and Firebase privacy information. Check AI output against original material; it may contain errors.
Customers do not need a NoteMate account. Apple or Google handles payments, and the app unlocks AI locally after a purchase or restore event. The backend does not validate subscription status. Direct AI requests are subject to Groq service limits. Firebase Authentication is used only for administrator access. We do not receive payment-card details.
Deleting a note removes its local database record and app-owned audio when it is not shared by another note. Your original imported source file is not deleted. Subscription access state is stored on your device and can be cleared by removing app data. Local notes remain until you delete them or remove the app; backups may retain copies. Cancel or manage subscriptions through your Apple or Google account.
